Nov 24, 2013· I have done quite a bit of work with wet belt sanders on both glass and plastics. It will be great for both. The water keeps both glass and plastics cool. For polishing glass we used a cork/pumice impregnated belt. This was after running through grits 120, 220, 320, 400, 600. Old worn 600 belts give a wonderful prepolish on plexiglass.
